A few years ago Dish added a little message that would popup in the middle of the screen under the top banner if the remote batteries were low. Is this feature still enabled? I have a 612.

Yes, and it is annoying! I get the message when my remote is still working fine. Sometimes taking the batteries out and putting the batteries that were on the left side back on the right side and vice versa fixes the issue.
