Hi, I have a vip722 and trying to setup dual mode. I have the triplexer hooked up and everything works on tv1, tv2 works and is set to channel 62. It shows what ever is on tv1. When I open the front cover and hit mode to switch from single to dual mode it says this feature is currently not supported. Error code 863. I hit ok and it takes me to multimedia where I can move dvr recordings to a external hard drive. I have done a factory reset and everything I can think of. Please help. This is a new box and I have never had it working in dual mode before. Thanks

I have. I have 62 set to tv1 and 60 to tv2. My issue is the receiver will not change to duel mode. When I hit the mode button on the front of the receiver, I got a pop up on tv1 and tv2 saying this function is currently not supported. Error 863. It stays in single mode and will not switch to dual mode. Tv2 displays the same content as tv1 on both channels 62 and 60

Is there coax coming out of the tv2 out, and in the menu 6-1-4(I believe) what do you have the tv1 and tv2 set for. What is physically checked, and what can you change?

Yes I have tv2 out to my other tv. It's 6-1-5 and I have tv1 turned off. Tv 2 is set to 73 cable. Connection is greyed out. Only thing I can't change is connection. Issue is I'm in single mode I can't switch to dual mode. If I open the front right cover and hit mode it pops up a message saying this feature is currently not supported. Error code is 863. I hit ok and it takes me to the screen to move dvr recordings to external hdd which I don't have hooked up. I literally can't switch to dual user mode. I'm stuck in single user mode.

It displays on my second tv. But it's what I have on tv1 and they always show the same thing. I do have it on the correct tv2 channel. I just need to be able to switch the receiver to dual user mode and can't without getting the 863 error.

Yes triplexer. Also tried home dist tv2 out using a separate cable run to other tv. Same result. Stuck in single mode and get error 863 if I hit mode button. Pip works and can watch one channel and record another. Just mode button won't let me switch to dual mode.

I have a glitch free vip722 with no overheating issues. I added a top 70mm exhaust fan and temps stay cool. I did this as a precaution since these receivers are known to over heat. I've had no issues at all with it.
