Noticed two calls on my caller ID over the weekend from Dish Network. The calls were several hours apart, but they left no message as to what they might want. Anyone else get these?

Not sure why they would bother, since I'm already a customer.

UMMMM, maybe to see what YOU, as a CUSTOMER. do, or perhaps don't like about their service.?;)

Sneaky way to get you on their calling list?
I don't know why they are worried about getting me on their calling list since I'm already a customer.

This is what I was referring too KAB, I didn't mean to quote my own post.
But I know what surveys are for.

I did. Boba suggested they wanted to get you on a calling list, which they obviously already have. so I would throw that idea in the trash. So question remains, why they called you in the first place. Maybe to take a survey...or about your signal strength or other issue?

I already stated what they wanted, a Survey.
The first call I missed, that was on Tuesday last week, The 2nd call from the exact same number on Thursday I talked to a automated service That asked me about 6 questions.
Some were about my service in general, some were about their Tech support.

You did not make it clear that you indeed responded.

First call March 5th 9:58 AM 866-668-8047, no message left. Second call was March 5th 3:18 PM 866-668-8047 and again no message left. They have my email so if they couldn't reach me by phone they could have emailed me but did not. I got an email yesterday with my monthly charges on it so I know they have it. I have received surveys from many companies by email so I don't know why Dish wouldn't do it that way too. I remember several years ago maybe 7 or 8 Dish called and left a message saying they detected low signal. I called them back and they set up a tech visit with not cost to me. Seems odd they would call twice on a Saturday, not leave a message and not call back again. I half thought they might have been calling to ask me to consider upgrading to H 3, but since I have not read of others getting those calls seems the survey is more likely.

They're back.....!!!! The return of the DISH AUDIT NAZIS!!! :nana
I realize you are making a funny, but, the Nazis would leave a message. After a couple of messages they would turn all receivers off but one. It would stay that way until you called them back and went through the process....

I can confirm that they do not leave a message. They called me the previous time that the Hopper fees increased from $7 to $12 and caused me to lose (not loose) my grandfathered price. I a still pissed about that.

After submitting our signal strengths (found in Diagnostics/Analysis/Send Status), we've gotten calls...

They always leave a message...

It's funny though.
Our signal strengths are within the averages according to the transponder list available here.

They won't get much better.

Well it's been over a week and no more calls. Why would they audit a Hopper account with no VIp 211s on it? We are 100% connected to the internet 24/7 and all receivers are connected by MOCA. We would not be candidates for an audit would we? That makes 0 sense.
