DVR Recordings Out Of Order

Hello all,

I have a slight problem with DVR recordings being out of order when sorting by recorded date. The problem isn't with shows that record every week such as, The Walking Dead, Castle, etc but with shows that members in my family have set up on daily timers (international programming).

For these daily timers, the same show is recorded every single day of the week at the same time, this is not a manual timer, but a daily timer.

When looking at the recordings, the order is completely random and not in order by recorded date. I have double checked that the sort order is set by 'Recorded Date' and still the shows are not in any sort of order at all. Not oldest to newest or newest to oldest. Just a completely jumbled mess of random dates as you move down the list of recordings for that particular show. I have a feeling this has something to do with messed up guide data for these programs as it is usually not correct...ever. But if the setting is to record by "Recorded Date," then the guide data shouldn't matter at all. This happens on all shows on all international channels.

In addition, with the same shows we never had a sorting issue with sorting by record date on our old 722 and 622s. This is something new with the Hopper 3 (It very well could've happened with the previous hoppers, but this is our first).

Anyone else experience this on non-weekly shows, non-american shows? If not, how to submit a bug report so it can be fixed?

Thanks, and sorry for the long post.

I have mine sorted by episode # and they are in some sort of random order seasons and episode #s are all mixed up. Still needs to be fixed on my HWS, not even an H3.
Try switching yours to episode # and see if that even works.

Mine sorts correctly by date recorded.

I have mine sorted by episode number, lowest to highest; HWS. And no problem. But that if I remember correctly, if I download On Demand it sorts by the first recorded to the last recorded, not by episode number. It did that for Game of Thrones. One of two did not download when first programmed.

Try switching yours to episode # and see if that even works.

Since these are international programs recorded on a daily timer with very limited and poor program data in the guide, there are no episode numbers for these shows so trying to set the sort order to episode # has no effect at all in the order since the episode numbers aren't even listed in the recordings or guide.
