Could Viacom Channels Go *Poof* This Week?

I haven't heard any buzz from DISH, but according to SeekingAlpha.COM tomorrow is the deadline between Viacom and DISH.

According to the SeekingAlpha article it states that Viacom is saying that Dish hasn't engaged in "a serious way" over a new deal.

I don't think that many people will complain if Viacom channels are blocked out, not like when Dish went to war against Fox News and got burned.

I don't watch any of those channels. I think my grand-daughters watch a couple over at their house but they watch too much TV over there anyway. Goodby Viacom.

Even my daughter notices the lack of quality programming on Nick vs. Disney or Cartoon Network, relatively speaking. She wouldn't miss Nick at all.

Last time DISH pulled Viacom (or was it DIRECTV?) Comedy Central pulled the Daily Show from being online to anyone until after the dispute was over.

I am not sure if they can do that this time though.
