Could Viacom Channels Go *Poof* This Week?

Or you have to wait until 12 AM Central, 12 AM Mountain, or 12 AM Pacific time to find out. If still on Dish at 3 AM CT, then a agreement was reach of some kind, if gone by 3 AM CT, then the dispute continues with a blackout.
I don't have Dish as my provider anymore (I switched to DirecTV back on March 3), but Dish's dispute drama just brings me back to the Dish section.

Guess we will see in the next 5 min. The website is still live but I haven't seen any notifications on the TV channel as I watch nick at night
I sure hope so. Finally broke the news to my Commander this morning as it was scrolling on one of her favorite VH1 shows Family Therapy with Dr Jenn. She did not take it well.
The bigger problem is the amount of garbage that we watch. I yell with my wife about this all the time. Yes, we both yell, yet agree. We're passionate about this topic. The fact we have dog themed tv channels proves to me that these companies are hell bent on making money off anything and everything.
The problem is that we, the viewers, have become so disjointed in our daily lives that we watch this junk. When water cooler talk includes Caesar Milan, The Kardashians (the fact alone that my phone knows how to auto spell Kardashian), Ryan Seacrest, Teen Moms, Jerry Springer, WWE, and whatever else is just thrown in our faces, over what is happening outside in the actual real world, is a damn shame.
We are living in Ray Bradbury's Farinheit 451. There is a whole world spinning around us, yet we are to fixated on the big screens that are taking up our walls. And, the only time we formulate an opinion on an actual important topic is when the images on the wall tell us to, which includes their telling us what to think. Seriously?
I'm sorry. I know this is a rant, but the fact that your wife broke down in tears over the possibility of not getting to watch Family Therapy just adds to my point that we have an issue in our society of mass addiction to anything and everything that is put on television. I get yelled at for smoking my cigars, yet am in shape, and the people yelling at me are out of shape from countless hours of tv watching. I love how they tell me about the ways they would survive the Walking Dead, as they wiggle and waddle off their couches to get another bag of chips, so they can continue to binge watch season 3.

Trust me folks, I was one of "those" people, when the sun hurts your eyes from never seeing it, and you are short of breath from walking to the bathroom, you change a lot things...or you die.

Viacom channels remain on Dish Networks as negotiations continue
Dish Network and Viacom Inc. executives continued negotiations late Wednesday night to try to reach a new carriage agreement for such popular channels as MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, BET and Nickelodeon.
No deal had been reached by the Wednesday night deadline, but talks continued into the night. Viacom channels remained on Dish's satellite TV system that serves nearly 14 million customer homes nationwide.

Viacom’s networks stayed on Dish Network after midnight, when an extension of the distribution agreement between the companies was set to expire.
Sources indicated that talk continued and that a resolution was in sight.

Viacom’s 18 channels remained intact on Dish early Thursday even as the midnight ET deadline for the sides to reach a new carriage agreement passed.
The fact that the channels stayed on past the contract expiration deadline indicates that the two sides are continuing to negotiate in an effort to avert a blackout that threatens to hit the bottom lines of both companies. Dish’s satellite TV service reaches about 13.8 million subscribers around the country.

I think they are deathly afraid of "the street's" reaction to the channels being pulled from Dish, and what the failure to negotiate an agreement might mean for their stock.
My sources tell me that Dish will propose a new fee called a "Fee processing fee Bwahaha!" which is to cover the cost of collecting fees on peoples bills in order to cover the new cost for the Viacom channels.
I can't imagine the channels going away. Viacom could get into serious trouble there. If nothing else, the board would get tremendous heat from shareholders.Talks continue! Dish continues to listen to proposals.
The last time Dish dropped channels (or they dropped Dish) it was past the announced deadline and didn't start until the weekend.
I have been given a direct verbal order from my Commander! After she saw the scrolling banner on VH1 this morning that we may lose 18 Viacom channels, she wants me to make a list of the exact stations with channel numbers. Can some one help me with the following list? Are these the 18 channels and the correct channel numbers. I need help with the missing channel numbers? Thanks to all who can help.

It's correct, although I'm not sure why you put Funimation channel next to Nickelodeon.
