Dish Anywhere on Hopper 3

I seldom use the Dish Anywhere app but I would like to have it available just in case. I'm having problems getting it to work with our new Hopper 3. I can connect to the Hopper and get the guide and even watch shows that we have recorded on the Hopper. But I cannot watch live TV. When I try to watch a show I get a Test Channel telling me that I am connected to orbital 61.5. When given a choice to watch on device or TV, if I select TV it goes to channel 103, Hopper 3 Insider. I did a chat with Dish but that was no help. Not an emergency, but I would like to have it work. Thanks.

Have you tried to change channels while in Live TV? On the bottom of the live screen you will see Hop To Channel. Simply enter your channel number and then press enter....

It's like Dish Anywhere doesn't connect to a tuner or ot doesn't recognize that I'm a customer. I removed and reinstalled the app on my phone a couple of times but no luck.

How long since your H3 was installed? It can take up to 72 hrs. for all features to to become fully functional.

Android or iPhone?

Thanks for the help. It looks like the problem is solved. I installed the app on my Android tablet and it had me pair the receiver with the tablet. This didn't happen on my phone. Everything worked fine. I went back to the phone and found a little obscure "More" on the bottom right that took me to a Settings page that I had not seen before. I selected Live TV and DVR. That took me to my receiver which I selected. Presto! Everything works.
