Considering going back to dish after being gone for the past couple years. Been doing the ota antenna thing along with sling tv. I keep seeing the $49.95 deal. What is actually gonna be the bill per month for 2 tvs? Fees are what frustrate me the most with cable or satellite service. Will the $49.95 actually be $100 per month?

Get on the phone or contact Dirt. We don't know what equipment you are wanting, exactly. Lot's of variables we don't know.

If you sign up with an authorized retailer before the end of the month and get a 222K for one HD TV and one SD TV the bill will really be only $49.95, plus a little bit of whatever your local tax is. If you get 2 211's or 2 Wally's for 2 HD TV's then it will be $7 a month more.

The reason I specified an authorized retailer is because that's the only way you can still get a 222K if you're a new customer, and that's only until the end of the month. After that no more 222's for new customers.

Whats so special about the 222k?

If you want hopper 3 its 10$ a month + 7$ for an additional tv price locked for 2 yrs. SO 67+ tax

Soon to be going, going, gone!

How many SDTVs are out there, at least for folks under 60?

Was just visiting my older brother in Ohio. He had a dish DVR receiver (think a 622) hooked up to his flat screen 32 inch tv with old RCA cables. Just shook my head. Did not even try to help since he seemed perfectly fine watching the way it was. Hardly if ever even uses the DVR functions. Soo...... there are folks still out there that are fine watching a what I consider a blurry picture with black bars on the side.

Is that the price lock with the free DVR service? I don't think the current price lock offer has a free DVR service fee included. Does it?

It does not. To add a Hopper with the current price lock offer the cost is $10 a month additional.

Just FYI, getting the 2 year guarantee with: America's Top 200, Hopper3 and a Joey is $81.99 plus tax. That is what I have now.

I have no clue if they charge me for it or not, it's on my bill but I don't know if it's part of the discount credited back.

As long as they are still available for existing customers, I'm fine with that. I am considering downgrading to a ViP222k later this year.

From what we've been told they won't be available for upgrades, only for replacements and if people want to buy one.
