Like the ultra it so far. PQ is very good, remote feels good, size is not as large as the 4. Do NOT like the asterisk doesn't pull up the netflix debug menu anymore.
I set mine up for UHD only, no HDR, and UHD Luke Cage looks great, as well as UHD Mad Dogs on Amazon. Obvious difference on Amazon between 1080p tv shows and their UHD stuff. Have some images attached, the resolution and color space is what I get on both netflix and amazon with HDR off, which is to be expected. Will definitely use this over my Panny 900 player. The 16,000 kbps pic is from the Netflix test video, wanted to verify it hit 16,000 with ease.

I got my $50.00 off and should have Roku Ultra delivered this Friday from Roku Company. We'll see how it does.
Yea, I know what you're saying. They gave me a tracking number and when I check it, it says package is still in CA. But, tracking also says delivery is Friday! I pre ordered mine on 09/30. Called them Monday and they did not send an email it was mailed, like they said. He said it was on the truck.....? We'll see if I get it on Friday.
There's something wrong with my Roku Ultra... The tiny fan isn't running constantly and I can't fry an egg on it.

Well, they sent me a shipping notice the day after I received it. I pretty much told them their CS was horrible. Hopefully I'll have time to set it up this weekend.

Got my shipping notice last night also. Now today is Friday and should be here in the afternoon. Well........hope all goes well.
Got my new Roku Ultra today. All looks great so far. One thing I have noticed is speed is a little faster and the (ok) button is in the middle of the arrows. The search button is where the ok button was. I keep hitting the search.....! Smaller than the Roku 4. The remote does not have the shiney look! don't see finger prints. So far I like it!
Also the (weather channel) has a new program for local areas. Does not cost anything and works really great!!!!!!! You might want to try it out. You will find it in Roku apps.
Finally had some time to set it up and play around a little. I love it. Loading, especially NF, is so much faster and smoother than on the 900. So much better than the ROKU 4.

My big complaint is instead of getting a Netflix Debug menu while streaming with the * button, I now get some useless listening mode menu.
I have zero problems with the Ruko4 and NF so can't imagine how something can be so much better when there is nothing to fix. Or is it just because your wallet is lighter everything seems better?
He may have had the Roku 4 early on like me and punted on it. It did get a lot better, but its launch wasnt the best.
Never cared for my Roku 4... it was always making a loud fan noise and their tech support was useless.
