About 3 pm today my game finder app stopped working on my 4K Joey. It was working fine from 11 am to 3 pm.It is working fine on the H3. I called Dish Tech support and worked about an hour with a CSR. We tried reboots of the H3 and 4K Joey to no avail. We tried shutting of bridging and restarting it again. We tried a system check. Again nothing worked . I get an error message saying there is no internet connection at the H3. Yet it shows an internet connection and gets all the apps. The MOCA said strong. Anyone have an idea of what is wrong with the H3 sending apps to the Joeys. The CSR said it was a known issue and they were working on it. 5 hours later and still no apps.

Not working well on my Joey 2.0's either all of a sudden today. I've had the game finder come up on one Joey intermittently but most times it times out and gives me an error window that says the Hopper has lost connection to the internet - which of course is wrong because the H3 itself is working fine. I'm using Moca connection to my four Joey's.

I've noticed that after the error message, the Joey is very slow to clear the message and then won't respond to the Apps key any longer. I have found that by going to channel 371 (Netflix) and that back out, I can get the Apps key to respond again. I've seen other strange things like turning off the Joey and the video turning off but having the audio stay on. Definitely something strange going on after many several months of the system working perfectly.

Wonder if that's related to my WJ losing internet connection to my H3 for 3 minutes at 1 am when I'm watching? Obviously the H3 is updating & not recognizing the WJ is in use. My H3 has never had a problem before (installed Feb) - I blame it on the last software update at end of Oct.

Ok, I spent some time with two CS tech reps today like the OP with no improvement. The reps kept to their script and kept talking about the Hopper internet connection but every time we proved that the internet connection to the H3 was just fine. We did similar things as OP mentioned. They kept trying to pass this off as an internet provider issue but it wasn't until I listed all the facts about the testing we had tried that I was able to convince the rep that the internet was fine. He ended up reporting the incident to "Engineering" - which actually I have communicated with before on another issue so we'll see what happens. Also, I mentioned at the very end that there was at least one other report of this being a known problem and the rep said yes that's why he was reporting it up the chain (?).

Noticed that the apps button doesn't do anything on my H3 either, can still access through menu so same issue here. Have conversation going with DIRT, will see what happens tomorrow.

Interesting. On my H3, even the Apps icon in the menu doesn't work, although like I mentioned earlier, if I go into Netflix and back out, then the apps button will work again. Will be interested in what kind of response you receive.

I am stil having problems getting apps to wok. They don't work at all on my 4K Joey, wireless Joey, nor Joey 2. They work the first time I try on the H3, then don't work a second time. A reset gets the 1st use on the H3 but never on the Joeys. I am having a Tech come to the house to check out the wiring and bring a new H3. What a mess with U331. Lost an EHD and now no apps. In addition recorded programs get lost on the DVR and then a couple of days later some come back , others don't. None of this happened before U331.

Well, magically, tonight the apps including Game Finder started working on the Joeys and the Apps key doesn't become disabled any longer. Hope it continues.

Thanks, just checked my H3 & it's working again too. Now if I can just get my WJ to stop losing the connection at night I'll be happy again.

Ugh. Well, it was working. I ran the Youtube app on the H3 tonight and after I exited, the Apps key stopped working. My Joey's also resumed having the problem of not being able to get the Game Finder to work without an error. Can anyone confirm if the Youtube app causes something similar on their system?

I was able to get the Joey's working again by rebooting both the H3 and the Joey's. However, as of this afternoon (Saturday), the Gamefinder/Apps issue has returned just like last weekend. I never did hear back from "Engineering". I'll see if I can get DIRT interested in this.

Yep!!! The APPs don't work again. I can't get game finder, anymore. So I am using the guide to get 151 Multi sports and it has 8 games running. I also can use 403 goal line to see multiple red zone opportunities like the NFL Rec Zone. Multi sport uses the internet and works fine, yet Game finder say my H3 doesn't have internet access. What a mess U331 has been!!!!
