So because I watch quite a bit of sports this time of year and enjoy the picture in picture feature, I was looking to swap my Joey and Hopper, putting a Joey on our main tv and putting the Hopper on my man cave/sports tv

Anyone else have this set up where a Joey is on what you would consider your "main" tv.

Just thinking about some changes on a Friday afternoon.....

If it will work better for you, sure. BUT, remember you will go to your node/hub to put the new Hopper location cable on the Host port, and the one going to the Joey on Client.

Yeah, one HWS in living room for dear old Mom and a Joey in her bedroom, and I have my HWS in my bedroom as that is my main TV (along with the AVR). I do have Joeys in other rooms (no AVR's in those rooms), but those rooms are either for me in the morning for Continental Brekfast and morning news before work or other office tasks, or for visitors anytime of the day or night and another room for a peripetic relative who keeps needing to live with us between jobs. It's a long story; not as bad as it may seem, but WE are better off with her in the back room with her OWN Joey. The limitation of 3 tuners puts the squeeze on the two viewers. Overall, It works out great. The only think I miss, on ocassion, is PIP in the alternate room I use, but Multiview feature works well enough.

I could see situations were some folk might prefer the smaller Joey4K (without losing PIP functionality) in the main room and the HWS in some other room.
