It's been along time since I've done much with the BUD but thought I may as well try it again since it looks like there's stuff to watch up there and the system is still hooked up, though not currently working. I have an 8' dish and a DSR922 that worked a number of years ago on both C/KU. Now neither C nor KU bring in a signal. I had an older FTA receiver that did work for a short time but it quit powering up a few years ago. After that the system sat idle until I bought a Super V8 receiver to see if I could pick something up with it. I did update the satellite list with N/A sat. The dish still moves okay and I've tried all across the arc but nothing comes in with either receiver so I'm wondering if I need a new KU LNB, that maybe when the last FTA receiver went bad it took the LNB with it? What do I need to pick up C-Band again? Will either the 922 or Super V8 work or would I need something else for a receiver? If I get new LNBs what do you guys recommend and from what vendor?
Thank you.

Take some pictures of the end of the dish. Does it have a polarotor? You may need a new one of those also, if so.
You need to run through the whole system piece by piece.

Do you have 18 volts at the LNB coax cable? If not, check at the back of your receiver.

If you have voltage at your receiver, but not at the LNB, your coax cable needs to be replaced!

This is what I would look for first!

Here are pics of what was on the dish.

I don't know about the voltage but when I scan across satellites the snow changes as does the signal meter. Is that any indication? I have a disability that keeps me from doing the hands-on stuff myself but I have friend that helps. I may not be able to get a quick answer back on some of your questions as it'll be according to his schedule.

Thanks guys. We'll get it back together and check voltage and see if CSPAN comes in. Probably have to wait until next weekend now though, got a snow storm coming in. Springtime in the Rockies, bleck!
