Last year DISH added YES Network for MLB Extra Innings games that were not covered by a DISH sports network. I don't see any signs of the Yankees games versus Toronto next week.

Anyone else notice it's gone or just me?

I thought EI Games are offered under an agreement with MLB, where if a game feed is not normally carried, MLB makes it available, regardless of any existing disputes. It that's the case, it's Dish opting to not take the game for other reasons, like lack of bandwidth.

YES Network absolutely was carried by dish on MLB Extra Innings last year... That's the only reason I stayed with EI this year.
i didn't deny that..I said it wasn't carried as a rsn..MLB usually demands their feeds be carried as RSN's..Dish had it on Sling

Well they can rename the MLB Network the Yanks/Mets Network since nearly every game they've carried this year so far has been either the Yankees or Mets so there's no need to carry Yes. Even the majority of the spring training games they carried were Yankees game. I upped my package this year to get MLB but if this nonsense continues I'll be dropping back.:oldmad

Of course I'd miss checking out Heidi's ankle straps every morning. :)

It's just sad.

Dish is just being cheap, but the situation with the dodgers is the worst I have ever seen.

You would think the dodgers would want as many people as possible to go to their games.

It gets worse. In NY State, No YES Network (Yankees), SNY (Mets), MSG (Knicks, Rangers, Islanders, Devils, Sabres) on Dish. Been this way for years now. In Western NY we get ROOT (Pirates) and FoxSports Cleveland (Indians) as our baseball consolation prize.

I chatted with Dish to ask where the Yankees / Blue Jays game was. First I was told that I missed it - that the Yankees played the Orioles at 11am and it was already on. (That was a replay of yesterday.) Then I was told that they don't play until Wednesday. Then I was told that if I use the zip code lookup, it will show that there is no game. Then the best was when I was told that MLB sets blackout restrictions, and Dish cannot control what games are blacked out.

That last one is true, including reasons listed above.

No, none of those are valid in this case. They stopped carrying YES for EI for some unknown reason. They never did admit or explain that.

Dish never carried YES last year. If you carefully watched the YES games on EI last year, DISH used the MLB.TV feed.... This meant that when they went to commercials between innings instead of commercials we saw the MLB.TV graphic... So, for whatever reason DISH has not elected or not been allowed to use the MLB.TV feed for the Yankees this year.
