Like I hate MASN (graphics, broadcast, etc) so even though I can see my Dbacks play without streaming this series I'm still going to stream. Why not let the consumer who paid extra to get all the regional sports channels the option to watch the feed from the other team if they wanted? It doesn't hurt MLB.tv./EI because you can't get all the games for non local teams, just gives people an extra option for whatever reason they may need it.

Because the ad buyers on your team's local broadcast paid to reach you. They don't want you watching ads from other towns. And, while, yes, you paid "extra" for the out-of-market RSNs, you really did not pay full price for your own. You paid some, and the advertizers paid some.
