Manual Unpair 50.0 & 52.0 Remotes

Both ways are manual. I, personally, use sdfntx's method, it just seems simpler to me. Of course, if you have more than one of the same kind of remote paired to a receiver, JSheridan's method is easiest.
I have seen a 40.0 get locked up for some reason and the manual method was all that worked. The normal method wouldn't.

Yep, that's for sure. LOL Got RF modulators on both Hopper 3s, Requires remotes all over the place. LOL I wish the Hoppers could sync recordings to other TVs thru out the house. I probably could reduce down on the remotes.

If you had cat6 wired through out you could have a hdmi splitter instead of rf modulators. Maybe a future project?

I only have 2 remotes paired to the h3, mine and hers.

Today I had to manually un-pair a 54.0 remote because the Hopper it was paired to is no longer here and I had to use it on a new Hopper. So I Googled how to do it because I forgot and got this thread. Pretty sad when you Google something and find that you were the one who originally posted the answer. Getting old is a bitch. :)
