I'm kind of in a unique situation. I'm in the Joplin/Pittsburg market. Currently our Fox affiliate has been off the air since May due to a disagreement with Dish. Anyway on August first the station just launched a CW affiliate on 14.2. We haven't had a CW in this market before. I was wondering if DISH adds sub channels to the programming if it's a .2 channel? It's a major network not the other channels that are .2's in the market like LAFF. It'd be great to have a HD WB on Dish instead of the SD one we get out of New York.

They might add it eventually. Hard to say. At least they give you WPIX for CW.

Send a request to Dish via DIRT.

I think Dish carries the CW in this market which is the .2 of the CBS affiliate. However, I would not expect Dish to carry your CW until they settle the dispute with the Fox.

Been waiting for our .2 CW channel (WWLP) forever in Springfield, MA. Kids love the superhero shows so I had to "move" to Hartford, CT and DISH is only carrier in our market without it. Still not worth making a switch.
