It seems to be multiplying... On my HwS, Eastern Arc (all 3 satellites), it's currently on channel 102, 115 twice, 207 twice, and 402 twice. The ones that are listed twice on one channel are both listed as HD, rather than one SD and one HD as you'd expect.

It's to showcase Dish Studio's live coverage of the Seven Peaks Music Festival this weekend. They are temporarily using the channel numbers that are normally reserved for slates to promote NBC's Olympics coverage. (Not coincidentally, those are also channel numbers that used to have NBC Universal owned channels on them, before those channels got dropped or went defunct.)

Okay, I found it in an uplink report from 8/29. They are both native to those channel numbers and being mapped down from four-digit channel numbers to those channels:

Well something is borked somewhere because both instances of 115, 207, and 402 on my HwS guide say HD, not one SD and one HD. (No, I didn't bother checking to see whether one was actually SD.)

Yes, that is correct, since you are on Eastern Arc. See the excerpt from the uplink report that I posted above. All of the Dish Studio channels are on 72.7, and they are all HD. On Western Arc, the SD version is at 119 (native to each channel number), and the HD version is at 129 (mapped down from a four-digit channel number).

With Dish Studio showing live coverage of Seven Peaks Music Festival, could we see Dish add more exclusive content? It would be good if Dish added a few older TV series to Dish Studio like Directv have with Audience. Audience currently has NYPD Blue, Prison Break and Mad Men, a few original drama series along with music series.

Does anyone know if recording from Dish Studio is restricted? Set it up for last night and it looked like it was recording and was also on the schedule but it is nowhere to be found.
