I'm sitting here with a full page ad from the newspaper from godish.com that is advertising the Top 120 package that INCLUDES the hopper DVR, smart Voice remote, HD programing, Includes one tv, Add more for $5.00 each and 190 channels with locals for $59.99. This is for new customers but according to a link in the forum, existing customers should be able to get it. Ive even had Teresa on the Internet chat line tell me I should be able to get it. I have spent close to an hour on each of two calls to the CSR's and they assure me that the price is for programming only. NOT equipment. But I can scan this ad if you want it but it says in one inch letters : Its all Included! Also offering a $100.00 gift card as well. Dish says absolutely not! However, I have gotten two different pricing on the same package from two different CSR's. The last one telling me she had been there 10 years and she knew what she was doing... What happened to a company that can give you the same price time after time? I have been a Dish customer for about 30 years and was a distributor when EchoStar first launched the satellite. I can go to Direct TV as a new customer and get the equipment for free. Dish wants to tell me "yeah but after the promotion is over they will raise the price". You don't think that is what Dish is doing to me right now?? I'm tired of paying $130 a month for television. Can you tell me what is going on? If not, I'm switching to Direct.

If your an existing customer Godish wants absolutely nothing to do with you.

You will need to do is call Dish directly to see what they can offer you.

Now is a good time with the loss of HBO, Dish is giving existing customers deals left and right do they don’t cancel and go elsewhere.

godish is a retailer and not a JSheridan type of retailer. They just sell jobs and like the same companies that go door to door, send out flyers and use newspaper ads, etc, they can make their own deals to get customers signed up

They still have to follow dish networks promotions.

The only advantage they have might be a gift card with purchase

Switch to Directv with all the posting about problems since at&t bought Directv DISH will seem fantastic.

Hey I’m just coming off of a two-year price lock. Has the price of Top 200 gone up in the last two years? I’m wondering how much my bill will increase even with a new two-year price lock. Thanks.

And no telling what kind of DISH technician you might get! :(

You’ll get the same one Dish would send if you ordered directly through them.

All go Dish is, is a middle man that is offering a gift with purchase.

IMHO, your always better to use a retailer for signing up as a new customer. Either an independent where they do the install or as a sales partner where dish does the install.

Sometimes you still don't know who you will get from DISH. I got a contractor one time. I request a DISH insider now. But they won't guarantee it.

Honestly it depends on how busy they are.

If they are slow you’ll likely get a dish tech. If they are busy then a contractor.

It’s really a coin toss!

Around here we have Don Lors and they are pretty good.

There are a few bad ones who will find any excuse to blow off a job

Depends on the area, too. For example, here in Illinois, outside of Chicago, you're not getting a Dish Internal tech, because there are none

So far I have been lucky to get an internal DISH tech since I started requesting them only. I had a real good local retailer that installed my DISH system back in 2007. He is no longer here and no one else.
