Long hold times on dish????

Called tech support Thursday night around 9:30 PM EDT for ongoing 722K issues. Was on hold for 30 minutes. Ended up speaking to a tech support staffer with a very thick accent that made communications difficult.

Had to follow up with same problem yesterday morning about 8:30 AM and got right to a tech (after navigating the phone menu, of course.) That tech was excellent.
 
If you press 8 for Spanish, or whatever number it is, you'll probably get right through and the CSR's are bi-lingual, That's what we do when Support lines are backed up
 
I bet if you called DISH they would never answer :p

Yeah but I would never call Dish myself because I have no desire to have their crappy service in my home.

But speaking of calling Dish, I still transfer unwanted phone calls from my office to them for customers looking to sign up for Dish. I get paid for those calls too! They just don’t know they are paying me :)

Gives new meaning to "Dialing For Dollars"
 
Just to keep this going, On hold close to 30 minutes to get my first Wally activated last night. This was after calling the phone number on the Wally, going through, what seemed like endless menus and being told to call the 800 333#. You would think they could at least put the Dish regular # on the Wally.
