I lost my int'l package 5 weeks ago w/ 10 years of service. After 2 different techs they replaced the transponders on the dish. I still do not have 118 showing up in the switch check. They replaced the switch on my power pole outside the first time and a couple coax connectors. Switch test shows inputs 1/2 port 3 Conn on satellite and X on Trans. Switch is a DPP44 w/ separator. Test is without the Superdish and Alternate highlighted. I have the old timey receiver, ViP222k.
I will get on the roof later this morning to check on the transponder types after sunrise. Anyone else having lost signal problems?

Howe many receivers do you have and can you take a picture of the LNB on your Dish?

BTW, that's not the check switch screen. To see what you're really looking at, on the Remote hit Menu, 6, 6, 1 and that's where you run a check switch. If you can, take a pic of that screen once it finishes

So you don't need a 44 switch with a 222, but,. I'm thinking you have an old style International LNBF which does require a switch.

You need to have a tech come out and upgrade you, if that's the case, to the newer Intl LNB, which has the switch built in

They also put a used transponder on the right. Tech is out of Minocqua, Wis.
Well, those are going to be used in most cases, because they're harder and harder to come by. Fact is, the New LNB removes other fail points, like the switch, extra connectors, the extra LNB, etc

Well, 3rd Tech showed up, ran a new dual cable to connect to the int'l LNB but it didn't work. They will come out next Tuesday to replace everything w/ a Super dish. Hopefully all new transponders too.

A Superdish doesn't get the internationals on 118. You need a Dish 1000+ and a new LNB or LNB's.

Transponders are on the satellite 23,000+ miles out in space, LNB's are on the dish. :)
