Netflix cc problem

Been having problems with cc (closed captioning) on Netflix the last few weeks. On several different series I'll find that cc works on some episodes but not others. For example, cc might work on episode 2 of Cheers, but not episode 3, and then it is back on episode 4. I've tried turning cc off and then back on (no luck) and starting the episode over (no luck either). Oddly, if I switch to Spanish cc it works, but still nothing when I go back to English. Is anyone else seeing this problem, and if so, do you have a fix?

I had the same issue. Went back to using the Roku for Netflix.

CC works fine on the Netflix website and other platforms, so it must be something specific to the Dish implementation.

We have been seeing reports made recently of other customers that are experiencing the same issue with the Closed Captioning through the Netflix app. At this time we do not have a fix or workaround. We do request that you reach out to our Chat Team here so we can submit a report to our Engineering Team with your information to add to the list of examples of this issue.
