I have a hopper 3 and 1 wireless joey.
The hopper is connected to the internet via Ethernet cable.
The joey shows linked with good signal.

The joey network menu also shows 68-72 signal strength on the wireless signal.

The hopper works fine. However the picture on the joey is either choppy, pixelated or has no sound. Happens on Live broadcast from Dish, OTA signal or playback from DVR.

I've just done a speed test of my internet connection and that is 50megabits for both upload and download. Not sure what else to check? Where is my problem?? I have powered off all equipment, including my routers, the hopper, the joey and the wireless access point. However the problem remains.
Thanks

Your internet has nothing to do with a Joey connected to a Wireless Access Point, unless you have it connected via your network

Did it ever work right? How is the wireless AP connected to the Hopper? Is there an opportunity to move it around so that the Joey gets a better signal?

Nice to know, but how does this reply help me solve my problem?
It helps you by removing the Internet connection from being a reason for your problem. Do you have an OTA Antenna connected to your Hopper? Is it the older Dish adapter or the newer Lark adapter, if so? The older adapter gets hot and causes pixelation on the Joeys

Yes, it previously worked fine. I have relocated the WAP to be in line of sight of the Joey and there is no improvement. Picture is still all pixelated.

Have you recently added or moved any other wireless devices near to the WAP or Joey? The WAP and wireless Joey use the unlicensed 2.4 spectrum and can be sensitive to interference.
