Finished the final season last night. Really enjoyed the show although it wasn't clear where those people in the final scene are coming from or why.

Plan to read the book in the near future. Free from Amazon.

I did find an interview with the showrunner of season 4. He stated the ending was intended to be ambiguous. He also stated the portal was open for good linking the two earths permanently.

I won't link to the article as it gets political at the end.

I just finished last night, and am okay with the ambiguous ending. Overall, this was an absolutely fantastic series!

For those thinking of reading the book (I plan to as well), I understand it's really nothing like this series (except for maybe the ambiguous ending part). The book is relatively short and the story lines from it were basically covered in season 1 of the TV series. There are no films and I don't think there's a John Smith character (and family) either. It focuses on the San Francisco side of the story (Juliana, Frank, Childan, Tagomi, etc.)

I just signed up with Prime video on Veterans day($40) discount to all military and vets. I've put this on my watchlist also joined because the series Expanse came over from SYFY. Excellent program if you're space junky like me.

Whenever I question whether to renew my annual subscription, I remind myself: "The Expanse." I also recommend Jack Ryan, The Boys, Fleabag, and Undone. Sneaky Pete is one of those under the radar shows on Prime that's quite good but easy to overlook amid the higher-profile stuff.

Mrs. Maizel is quite good also, it was more my wife's idea to watch it after she seen the Emmys, we watched the first 2 seasons a month ago and they were good, watched the 3rd Friday and Saturday and a lot better, they really increased the comedy, laughed a lot.

Sent from my LML713DL using the SatelliteGuys app!

This was the best series I've ever seen. I feared the ending would not be satisfying, but was happy with it. the role of Juliana Crain by Alexa Davalos was the best for a female ever. Betty Davis would be pleased.

I'm pretty picky about watching Movies & Series, mostly can't get beyond the plots. find them just uninteresting.

TV
Watch mostly sit-coms fewer over time. Series so few. oddly watching 2 now. The Good Doctor. God Friended Me. both would recommend. the only others this century I watched, Designated Survivor,24 both S1 only & Last Resort.

Movies
1991 ? ish was on vacation spending much $ at the beach the room had a VCR and noted a movie rental store near by, thought I could save some green watch a flick look at the beach etc. it was one of the biggest rental store I had seen 100s if not a few thousand movies

Walked the aisles I had seen ALL of these movies. there might have been 5-10 that were worth seeing again or recommend. then thought of multiplying those movies by 90 minutes holy crap what a waste of my Life.
Did not watch any a few years (4-5) . then since maybe 5 or so a year if that. mostly Disney types animation. still a sucker for that stuff.

Late to the "I need to finish this off" party, I power-binged the last seven episodes yesterday. I'm glad I did, but I can't say I'll ever go back and watch it all over again in the future. Unlike "The Expanse" which I have and will watch again.

I just didn't like the finish. John shooting himself and I still don't know if Robert Childan made it to Japan to be with his wife.:(
