Dish Scapes on 199 is interesting

I think that this is the first time that the theme of the Dish Scape does not match the theme of the Watch Event being promoted on channel 198. When I first saw this month's Watch Event theme listed there (Salute to Our First Responders) I thought that the Dish Scape was actually going to implement my earlier idea:
The new one will be coronavirus-themed, demonstrating social distancing.

Enjoyed watching the dish scape mountain nature scene. Total length is approximately 30 minutes. It features winter scene which transitions to spring & summer with flowers, deer, birds, butterflies. It also includes a thunder storm and night scene. Nice nature sounds with water sounds, birds, horse, church bells, and storm. Vegetation changes as the seasons progress. Good job Dish!! Keep up the good work.

Animations/sounds I saw/heard

Spring
  1. Nice babbling brook
  2. Flowers bloom
  3. Blue butterflies flutter right
  4. Monarchs flutter left
  5. Deer
Summer
  1. Louder babbling brook reminiscent of peeing into a toilet. :( This gets strangely quieter during thunderstorms.
  2. Noisy thunderstorms with lightning and rain
  3. Different flowers
  4. Night scene is in this season IIRC
  5. At least 3 types of bird calling. The one I recognized was an owl.
Fall
  1. Woodpecker pecking
  2. Leaves falling
  3. More subdued babbling brook
  4. Small white insects that appear and disappear. Fireflies out in broad daylight?
Winter
  1. Falling snow
  2. Blowing snow
  3. Snow on ground and mountains
  4. Brook frozen over
  5. Fox
Did I miss anything?

For winter I said fox my wife says it is a coyote or wolf.

Wow I think the Scapers just added more visual finesse to the wonderful May scene. Now there is a robin or some kind of bird who appears in the right foreground chirping on the rock several times during the Spring. There is a much better transition between autumn and winter. No longer does a magic carpet of snow appear over the ground marking the change of the season, but a snowstorm gradually enshrouds the scene in white. The melting is more realistic, especially at the brook, between winter and spring. More mammals have been added to each scene, except maybe to the night scene . I haven‘t seen any animals there yet. Well done!

There now seems to be an elk making laps during the Fall scene - saw it at least four times walking the same route during the same Fall. Also hearing the trumpeting of the elk.

Dish's plan is working. :)

Additions after premier: Moose, fox, cougar, bear. What have I missed?

I saw the fox immediately and reported it in post 143. :D I got some pushback on whether or not it was really a fox and not some other canid.

What I never saw in the whole month it was there was bigfoot. :(

I've always imagined that the single "wood knock" after the long howling is Bigfoot making his presence known. But it would've been nice to see him stroll through the scene.:)

I am intrigued by next month's for the "Summer Escape" Dish scape. A day at the beach on a tropical island. That could be really cool - or it could be taking a portion of the April Earth day one and reusing it.
