Odd problem with recording locals

I have an odd issue, wondering if anyone else is seeing it. I go to the guide and pick a show in the future that I want to record by pressing select but nothing happens. I can do the same thing to any channel that is not a local and it will select just fine and present me with the options screen to setup the recording. The equipment is a 522 with software version is L238GAGD-N and bootstrap 1414GAGD. I have tried both a soft reset (holding the power switch till it resets) and also removing power completely and then plugging it back in but it is still a no go. I can set a manual timer and it appears to record (it's supposedly recording right now, I'll know more once it's done and I look at it.)

Any ideas?

I'm still getting notifications on posts from years ago saying that they are new, although the subject matter is still current. That when I replied I got flack from the regulars.

I reported it and was told it'd be fixed. So. . . . .
