Why does Guide (all subscribed) list X rated channels?

I opened Guide with Hopper3 today. I pressed 'CH Up' on remote several times. All of a sudden starting at channel, 480 Guide listed a lot of x rated channels! All the way to #499. When I checked the top right corner within Guide I saw that 'All subscribed' was selected. The Guide does not show the channels I am not subscribed to. I understand it shows many shopping and free or paid VOD channels. But, why does it include porn channels? It doesn't bother me that Dish offers them. I personally have no desire to see this list.
I know I can create a favorite channels list, and I did that in the past for news, sports, etc.

Is that still the only option to block channels from Guide? I thought selecting 'all subscribed' would be enough.

Thanks Navchop. I used a parental control on myself. checking Guide under settings showed adult channels were supposed to be hidden! Then , I went to parental control. It showed adult programming was not hidden! Contradictory. I switched it to 'off'. Now, the guide skips those naughty :)oops:) channels.
I am tempted to create a favorite list that will show channels I am interested in. I want to hide all those shopping and vod.

You can also call Dish and they can turn off adult services on the account. That is what I did on my account years ago - all the adult channels are disabled and if I go to the "hide adult channels" option on my receiver, I get a notice saying "adult channels not offered" and they never appear in the guide, no way to unhide them or show them, etc. And if I go to my account and try and order something from the "midnight lounge", an error comes up that says "Cannot be ordered with DISABLE ADULT (Y)". Granted, that is the extreme way to go about doing it, but no way to order or even show the channels without calling Dish and asking them to turn them back on.

Thanks Zippy. That’s a great idea actually. I mean free * orn widely available. Why do people need it on Dish?
I took my time and started from the lowest channel number, and wrote down every available channel that I wanted and moved them into a favorite list. Very satisfied with the result.

I must admit descriptions for those naughty movies were hilarious!!!

My H3 installation “failed.” I have no Guide channel icons, missing some DVR icons, and missing some channels- including, I have now discovered, all the porn.
Normally, I would say you're not getting all your sats or you could have a bad LNBF that's not getting the Sat that the downloads are stored on

Well, look what I found. Note the Unterminated on the DPH42. The MBR lead goes to an unused and unterminated lead; same for the rec room. Exercise room has the J3 and the LR has the H3.

I thought that was OK.

I don't know about what should or should not be hooked up to that orange thing (a hub?), but I think that's probably OK too. Where is the power inserter for that switch? And it appears to be dangling by the cables from the dish. I take a dim view of stressing those cables unnecessarily.

Something similar happened to me.

I do not subscribe to any of the porn channels. But on Sunday I was going through the guide on my Hopper Duo and a porn channel listing briefly appeared in the guide. It was probably there for 1/2 of a second and then it was gone.

Very strange. In my Guide Settings, "Hide Adult Channels" is On. WTH?
