ATV Integration Without The Plus?

I wonder how long til the ATV OS is just part of the Hopper Firmware, making the Plus obsolete. Joey 4 already has that out of the Box. The Plus has nothing to do with ATV on the Joeys so it stands to reason there should be a firmware update that will put the ATV OS on the Hoppers without the Plus

Does the Hopper3 have enough storage to add the android operating system without the plus? In the past they had to remove apps when adding new. What I don't understand is their reluctance to just add Joey 4 units without adding a plus.

That's a good question. As for the Joeys, I assume it's because there's a Software inconsistency with the OG Hoppers not having ATV OS
