Ha! I knew a new version would be coming out "soon". ©TM

I'm still on 325.
Soon? 330 came out in November. It’s not like they come out every couple days. I should probably tell you that when you get a certain number of software versions behind, you will no longer receive anything but core channels which will force you to do an update so I don’t know why you don’t just do the update and get it over with. It’s not like it’s going to break anything on your system.

I've always gotten approved releases within a week or two of finding out about them here. Never got 329 or 330 which were mentioned here. Let's see if I ever get 333!!!

I always thought that Hopper with Sling that I have plus several Joey2s would automatically update themselves.
I am aware that I can go to Settings and manually update them if new versions are available.
Not that I am interested, but can you force the system not to update at all? What is the reason for this?

They will automatically update when Dish feels that a new version is ready for wide release.

Manually updated both of my Hopper3 receivers to software version H333 and my Joey3 to J533.
Once again Caller ID and TV Enhancements got shut off by the software update. I turned them back on.
