Two Hoppers connected to the same network will cause issues.

From our site:

  1. If issues persist:
  • Install a Hopper Internet Connector (HIC)
  • Or create a second subnet if HIC installation is not possible
  • Check for dual broadband connections (WiFi + Ethernet) which can cause interference
  • Remove one method of connectivity if both are present
  1. For Hopper Plus/Joey 4 devices:
  • Verify there is only a single broadband connection
  • Reset both the router and Hopper/Hopper Plus if apps aren't working
  • The customer's router may be interfering with the connection - consider HIC or 2nd subnet solution
