I'm this close to putting you on ignore. I sincerely dislike people who live to argue, no matter the topic.Ok, then what about at low orbits, with all the stuff we're cramming in

They actually USE their turn signalsHow do they not bump into each other
Same goes for the 11 transponders at 119. DIRECTV with the reverse band frequencies has enough bandwidth and does not need any frequencies at 110 or 119.And, while again unlikely they'll get them anytime soon, there are those last 3 x-ponders D* is sitting on doing absolutely nothing with!![]()
129 wasn't theirs to keep.IMHO Dish should have never given up 129 and should have used it to be the leader in 4K, and other specialty programming
If and/or when the EA goes away so will the vast majority of the customers we've installed because of a lack of a line of sight. 119 is only about 22 degrees elevation and a good majority of our customers are in mountainous and heavily wooded areas. It's about reducing costs.
The time is coming where everything will probably be on 110/119 since the new satellites being launched have the capability to cover all markets. There will be no east or west arc.
And then one might expect Dish and DirecTV to merge and add some but not all of the DirecTV slots to the mix.

No it wasn't but they could have continued the lease if they wanted to.129 wasn't theirs to keep.
It never made any sense to me the way they did Eastern Arc. There was certain DMAs that where on both ARCs.It's about reducing costs.

And they obviously didn't need it so why spend the money. No it wasn't but they could have continued the lease if they wanted to.
