Sorry for being obtuse, but I thought when all the streamers (D-Stream, YTTV, Hulu Live, etc.) made their "bulk deals" with the major OTA nets, the whole idea was the networks made the entire deal...& basically cut out all the local affiliates, other than having them supply their local feeds to the streamers - which I also understood the affiliate groups were NOT happy about doing, but basically had no choice. They need both for stream, a deal with the network and an agreement with the station owner.
OK, that makes sense for DTV Stream...thank you for clarifyingDTV Stream operates in an inbetween area because its contracts are also tied to satellite and U-Verse retrans deals. So they need the networks' permission to stream, and a deal with the affiliates

Massive errors on attempt at data collection this AM
Will have to let rest of team sort thia out
Doctor j for DataDigesters
A very interesting turn of events this morning. Wonder when the last time something like this happened was. Can't recall anything similar over my nearly 4 years of following. This mornings data collection problems have cleared up. - Tom
It has happened occasionally, but were short-lived, and we didn't tell you about it. I will be analyzing what happened when I have time, but my guess is that we were trying to collect the APG data at a time they were modifying it, and some of the data was not up on the satellite when we tried to grab it. Jimmy made one try, and I did two others, and each had massive numbers of missing channels, but different each time. Then it was OK on the next two runs.A very interesting turn of events this morning. Wonder when the last time something like this happened was. Can't recall anything similar over my nearly 4 years of following.

2 more live sports channels now instead of 4K PPV movie channels?107 and 108 have been renamed to LIVE4K3 and LIVE4K4
They have the bandwidth to do it, but channel 107 and 108 are both on the same transponder, so they will be somewhat constrained for fast action at 4K. 105 and 106 each have their own transponder.2 more live sports channels now instead of 4K PPV movie channels?
107 and 108 were already being repurposed whenever they had more than 2 simultaneous 4K events. The regional 4K home games from NESN, Spectrum Sportsnet and CHSN frequently get bumped to those channels, during the Olympics some FS1 events got bumped to 107 too.
105 LIVE4K shares its transponder with the 4K offline slate
106 LIVE4K2 used to share its transponder with 104 DTV4K
