Call Dish and see what they can offer you. You joined the forum three days prior to this post. I think that it is very rude or maybe a scam to ask a member for a free receiver. If you been with Dish and have good credit they may give you a Hopper 3.

It can be hacked... Or at least could up until 2023 for sure. Likely not worth the trouble anymore.

722k was a beast. Up to four tuners (including the two OTA with the OTA module), expandable storage with an EHD, provide individual tuners to two rooms with one device. The only issue was the late 90s GUI.

Loved that device. I don't have Dish anymore, but if people are handing out free stuff...

Yes, as far as we are in the field, replacing them on trouble calls, although it's very rare and only people who adamantly refuse to change to the Hopper, but as far as buying one as a customer?? Not sure

Im not a sockpuppet account. i promise you that, i just wanted to see if anyone could hand me a spare receiver thats all, i also joined for other satellite stuff cause i have a sl3 and a eastern arc

Lag, outdated GUI, slow EHD access, no 4K access, red recording light, and it doesn't have a drink holder.

But to be fair, the 722k doesn"t have a cup holder either.
