Looks like they are cranking up the new HD for the 15th.

So what gives with the extra stuff of 61.5??
6 MPEG4 HD channels on a QPSK TP? I wonder why...
Perhaps they are not all HD. I wonder if they are testing the ability to put HD in on the STD TPs. They used to not do it because 19+mbit/sec was too much, maybe now that HD is getting down to 6mbit they are considering squeezing some in here and there in the regular TPs.

Cant wait!
So MHD, DIscHD, TLCHD, AnimHD, ScienceHD, Golf/VSHD are the 6 new ones in the 9400's correct?
The others in the 5900's are the new RSN's correct?
Also, how strong is TP19 on 129?
They are test channels. I doubt it will be QPSK for long. QPSK would be a waste as all MPEG4 receivers can do 8PSK.
I would say so, given the channel numbers.
Hard to say at this point.
Signal looks great on the 90cm here at 112% on my scale. Compared with Tp 27's 110%.
Is anyone able to tell what resolution the mpeg4 HD test channels are running? I'm curious to know if the 1080i ones are 1440 or 1920.
Too bad you won't be here to see it, Bob. Wonder if CSN Chicago HD is getting lit up?Its quite possable that these are the voom channels firing up in mpg4? has anyone thought of that?? Or is it just going to be a switch.. It would be cool to see what the recivers do when they throw the change of encoding. I wonder if they will hickup or continue on like normal.
