I just re-read your post. I see you have a 6131. When trying to find 82W, use TP30. It reads 100% in Toronto. Good luck.

I do Bell installs in Toronto. When trying to get 82W, use Transponder 15 or 16. If you are using a non-HD receiver, only these two TP's work. Good luck, Gord

Try using a concrete 24" x 24" patio slab. It's tough getting up to the roof, but once there, you attach the satellite pole to the slab using Tapcon screws. Good luck!

Raoul5788, that is exactly what I told him this morning by email. It's working great at the moment because it is sunny & clear. Once we get rain on Friday into Saturday, he will see what we are trying to tell him.

That last statement is a good point. To access HD programming, the literature indicates a customer must have HD Access activated. I would suggest the customer call DTV back, and have them check his account. If HD Access is not activated, they won't get HD programming.
