I'm in the Dallas area also. I don't think that we will get any more stations with the Super-Dma. There are no other major metro areas near us, unless you count Sherman. I'm in McKinney and I don't pick up the Sherman station. I've tried to manually tune it and I can't get a strong enough...

I lease my equipment. I am just wondering what will happen specifically to the antenna once the plug is pulled. Will Voom want the antenna returned with the STB's? I hope not. I'm bumming. The thought of going back to E* makes my skin crawl.

I understand the people that want to criticize Voom and they way things have been handled. But in the end, what have we lost by not having a DVR yet? So we've lost the ability to digitally record in HD. From reading posts, it seems that many people subscribe to either E* or D* along with V*...

I think they are planning to show any event that they carry live in HD whether it be college basketball, hockey, college football, etc.

I know this is minor since there is no hockey going on, but is Voom planning on adding ESPN2-HD? I believe they begin broadcasting tomorrow (Jan. 6).

It frustrated me all season that ABC did not show games in HD except for a select few. I understand that they show many regional games each week and it would be impossible to show them all in HD. But each week they carried a BCS spotlight game of the week and that was never in HD. Hopefully...

The only times I have seen/watched ESPNA and ESPN2A is during the NHL and NBA playoffs. ESPN will have a game for most of the nation and then another game for a small region. ESPNA will show the game for the small region for those in the rest of the nation.

The wife would love HGTV, but since I pay for Voom it doesn't matter what she wants.
