AAD - Is Out of Business

NO MORE AAD. HOW SAD! Since AAD IS GONE, I REALLY HAVE NO REASON FOR WANTING DISH, When my 2yr commitment is up for my HOPPER, I will drop DISH I became a DISH customer in 2001. Distant Networks were the reason. Now That gone. It's going to hurt Dish. More people will move to...

UPDATED - Dish drops WWE PPV changes mind Will Show Wrestlemania

Ok let me get this straight. WWE ppvs are gone from DISH. ALL AMERICAN DIRECT GOES OUT OF BUSINESS. so it looks to me that Dish has lost any advatage it has over DIRECT. THE AAD thing really has me thinking. I still have 10 months left on my Dish Contract with hopper, but when that's...

    nps locals

In my opinion, It would probably depend on where you live. You would need to go to the Dish Network website and qualify for Lexington. Then go to The NPS website to see if you qualify for any of the Distant Networks. Good luck.

What is The least amount of Dish Service I must maintain to Kep AAD Channels?

I do have two DVR's, but I plan to have them deactivated. That would leave me one receiver. I am just waiting til the end of this billing cycle so I can record everything out of my DVRs.

Please stop me from going to Dicectv

The thought of switching is very much on my mind. I am going to wait to see how the court ruling with All American Direct comes out and I am waiting to see if Dish is going to be able to offer signifcntly viewed channels from the market just a very short distance from me. Directv has Mega...

What New Laws in regard to DNS?

I have recently visited the AAD website. There is a messge there indicating that changes are coming in this year. It urges everyone to contact their Congresmman and Senators. I believe this deals with the area of DNS and maybe significantly viewed channels. Does anyone know what Congress is...

IS It Legal to have Local From Dish and DNS from AAD at the same time?

I am kind of lost. I have DNS from AAD, but I can't get CBS. I want CBS for football coverage. I can get CBS in a local package. Some tell me having both local and DNS is legal. Some say no, it is not legal. I can go to each website of Dish and AAD. They indicate what I can qualify for. At...

    All American Direct

I applied back in January. My CBS waiver was denied. How long do you think I should wait to try again. Also, I sent a letter to the CBS affiliate that dnied me, but I don't think they understood what I told them. They said because I have Dish Network, I can no longer get Distant CBS. But...

Dish Again running AAD Distant Network Message

Could the earlier $2.50 price been a lure to get people in. Then after a short time go up on the price. Afterall, NPS feels it is the only choice,so they raise the price. Tacky of them, but maybe true.

INDEMAND will carry MLB EI? No so fast says MLB... How about E*?

When I was driving to work this morning, I heard an advertisement on the radio. Seems Like D may have the deal locked up. The advertisement was for MLB EI and new Subsribers. It indicated if a customer or new sub signed up for MLB EI, before April 7, 2007, there would be a 20% savings. Might...

So what happened to significantly viewed lil?

Let's Start that band wagon to get a revision in the law. I wrote to my Congressman again. He has indicated he will support new legislation. We need to do now what Charlie tried back before the cut off date with the Save our Channels website. The revision in the law needs to be better than S...

So what happened to significantly viewed lil?

Over the years, we as satellite dish consumers are getting the short end of the stick. The NAB is to blame for all of us losing our rights to what we want to watch, whether it be DNS or SV. We must all let Congress know how we feel, and fight the NAB Beast. The time is not later, but now!
