Is there any word when Directv will add Fox to their HDTV lineup? I want an HD TiVo, but I also want to wait and see what they add. I came back from cable, because I missed my TiVo.

I read somewhere where the new sat will add more local programing in 20 existing markets as well as all of the new markets that are getting locals. I hope they will expand on local HDTV for the top 20 markets. That would piss off the cable providers. :) Has anyone else heard or read this...

I am thinking of switching to DishNetwork from Comcast cable. Is DishNetwork better than cable? I tried to get Voom, but could not because of no line of site. I know I can get DishNetwork. How is there 522? Any help would be great! Thanks.

I am thinking about switching from Comcast to DishNetwork and getting the 522. It seems like Comcast in the Atlanta area, will be a long time until they release there DVR. Is the 522 a good DVR and will Dish ever add more HDTV. Thanks for your imput.

I saw it on Comcast as well. Some people don't seem to understand, that the crawls come from the network themselves, not the providers. I work for on air operations for TNT and we do crawls when we have programming changes and other announcments.

I was just told by a CSR that the DVR will be avaliable around October or November of this year. I thought it would be by this summer. Has anyone else heard this?? Thanks.

OTA Antenna What kind of OTA antenna does Voom use? I live in an apartment, so space is limited. I also do not live far from the towers. Thanks. I can't wait until install on Thursday.

What if you live in an apartment and can't install an atenna on the roof? How ould that work?

Equipment That's true. But I'm sure they will have a program to exchange for the DVR if you purchase the equipment.

Equipment Is it better to buy the equipment up front or rent it? I can do either. I know the programming would be cheaper if I bought it. I would get more programming. Thanks.

New to Voom Thanks for the info. I will probably do the same and watch only HD. But I do like Sci-Fi. Is there any word when they might add that network? I think, but am not positive they are owned by USA. Thanks again.
