I need more timer events. Before I upgraded, I had a 722 and 625. They each had close to 100 timers on each box so I could record anything I wanted. Now I the HWS has around 93 timers so I don't have the capacity to record like i used to. And speaking of capacity, why not have a 3TB hard...

Sorry it took so long to respond, but that was the problem. I don't know if i hit the 999 limit but i started to delete shows and the 'lost' shows showed up. Thanks to both of you!!!:D

I had a 2tb Western Digital EHD connected to my 622. Once the available drive capacity went below 450 gig, any show that it transferred to the drive did not show up on the list of recordings on the hard drive but the remaining memory lowered the same amount at the total for the transferred...

No, i didn't think of that. Until a few months ago, I had been using the receiver in single mode, so i wasn't necessary. I'll take a look at it. Thanks for the help.

I have a 622 and 625 that are setup in dual mode most of the time. Lately, I have noticed that any recorded program that I lock with the IR remote, I can delete with the RF remote without entering my 4 digit code. Other than hiding the RF remote, is there any other way to fix this?

Yesterday Dish said it was a free upgrade with a new 2 year contract, so I don't get it! I don't know which way is better. One way or another, i'll get it installed.

I just got the same info initially, but they did more digging and found it. But they want a new 2 year agreement to add the wing and can't do it any sooner than 7/12. You'd think since they knew ithis was coming, they would be better prepared to handle our needs.

Do I need to anything to the dish or is it good to go?

The reason I asked is because on Thursday I came home and all of the saved content and timers were gone! I had about 80 hours of content including 4 PPV movies. Most of the content was locked and I am the only one with the password. I called Dish, but they could not explain it. Wife not happy...

For this update, does it happen automatically or do you need to delete all of the recorded contend first?

Since it doesn't look like E* won't bless us with Sci-Fi HD for tonight's episode, I might as well watch online in 40 minutes, unless they bring down the server.
