    DirecTv and TiVo

Just Switch PVR4me... all you are doing is arguing why you would choose TIVO over D* DVR's. You must have given at LEAST 20 reasons now. I think your answer is clear. You obviously want nothing but TIVO and D* has ended it's relationship with TIVO. D* will support the old D*TIVO boxes, but...

    Just installed and first impressions.

You should be getting HD on your locals. I used to live outside Atlanta (in Winder). 11Alive & WSB do their news in HD and 11Alive has "The Evening News With Brenda Wood" on right now (7-7:30pm). Now mind you, only the studio cameras are HD (field cameras are 16x9 SD). Of course, you could just...

Networking HR20 w/ Wireless Ethernet Adapter?

Thanks guys. Apparently, the Buffalo adapter is no longer available as Buffalo fights a copyright infringement case. Good to know that these will work though.

Networking HR20 w/ Wireless Ethernet Adapter?

Has anyone tried to network their HR20 using a wireless ethernet adapter? My router is in the basement and I really don't feel like running a line to my living room. I know there are plenty of wireless ethernet adapters & bridges that work with ethernet devices including gaming consoles. Any advice?

    HDMI Switch Recommendations?

Just bought a new receiver in February when other died and it did not have that option. That was before I upgraded my DVD player. Would like to avoid buying yet another receiver, if at all possible.

    HDMI Switch Recommendations?

I bought a HDMI switch from ebay last month and by not reading the ad very closely, bought a switch that does not work with HDDVR's from E*, D* or cable. I really want to use the HDMI port on both my HR20 & DVD player, but my TV only has one HDMI input. Any recommendations before I start buying...

    TNTHD Issues This Morning

    Why subscribe to Game Plan???

Hold your horses, everything will be fine. Just to let you know, some weeks MAY have not been picked by the networks yet. CBS & ABC have 1st refusal for their conferences and are not required to announce their television plans until 13 days out. After they pick, ESPN picks, then Lincoln...

Is HD available on the 3LNB Dish?

I am in a balcony situation and I made a pole in concrete bucket mount before I moved. The problem is my building is parallel to the line of site. I went through 5 installers who all said I could not get signal before I had my family members in Georgia go to my house, remove both of my dishes...

Is HD available on the 3LNB Dish?

I recently moved from the Atlanta metro area to the DC metro area and had the 5 LNB dish in Georgia. However, I'm worried the 5 LNB is too heavy to mount on the porch railing (I live on the 3rd floor), especially since the dish needs to be about 3 feet out from the railing to get signal. Right...
