    Two Problems - HDMI cables and HD channels

    Not all HD channels will broadcast in 16:9 all the time. Some content just isn't produced for that aspect ratio. Case in point, Falcons game yesterday was 16:9 on CBS but Amazing Race was 4:3 (black bars on side) it just depends on the programing.

    are there no other fees like tax, FCC or other junk like that? It's just straight up what I see on the dishbuilder? that's hard to believe but if it's true awesome!

    Hey guys, If I chose the package in the attached image, what OTHER fees will I see on my bill? With my cable bill the only additional fees are: Sales Tax (zip 30680 in GA): $0.53 Franchise Fee: $2.48 FCC Reg, Fee $0.06 Just trying to figure out what we'd be in for wish DISH instead...

    well, would there be any difference in the actual Dish if I start with SD and move to HD? I've seen on these boards that I'd need a Dish 1000 for HD content, would that be a problem to have switched out if need be?
