I had customer service replce my 622 when this was happening to me. They replaced the 622 and the problem went away. However, the HDMI port does not work on the new unit. I would rather use the component video feeds than have the unit reboot 1-2 times per day.

The crazy thing is that the HDMI port on my 622 that is supposed to be returned (equipment swap) to Dish works fine. So did the HDMI port on the 942 that I should have never given up. L359 is running on both 622s. I am using a Sony 50" LCD TV. There must be a hardware element to the problem...

Well, I am sure glad I just spent $299 (on the VIP622) to get even a worse picture from WFAA than I got before with a OTA (with my 942). They are just about the only US digital station broadcasting in VHF rather than UHF and they are very low power. Thank the stars that MNF is moving to ESPN.
