As reported on the tech chat, the vip722 will be available in August. The cost is reportedly $549. Will it be offered for lease to current subscribers? And for the same upfront costs and requirements?

The operating manual is on the tech portal. Why so little talk about this model? It would seem as though this one could eliminate the fees for any extra receivers, usually standard definition models. Let all who know tell. Thanks
