    Nice while it lasted...

Yet MLB At Bat still black-outs games involving the Fox Sports Detroit networks (I'm in Michigan, 6 hours from Detroit by car). But since my favorite (Cleveland Indians) no longer has more games with the Tigers, I don't care. I might next season though!

Thanks, I'll take that as a "no" to my question then. :hatsoff

This says "moving" is against the law????

I have a different situation. In my local area, all but one of the local channels on Dish are from one station. CBS on channel 011-00, ABC on 012-00, Fox on 013-00 and NBC on 025-00. The first 3 are local to where I live (Alpena, MI) while the NBC station is from the Saginaw/Flint MI area. Yet...

Free 54.1 Remote With Google Assistant

This is odd. I received my free remote and it says (on the back) that it is a 54.0. Yet, it is backlit (turns on when I pick it up). Is back lighting supposed to be the only difference between the 54.0 and 54.1?

    External hard drives

Lucky you! At least it saw the drives. I have tried two different 2TB HDDs to my HWS and I get no messages of any kind no matter how long I leave them attached. One was a Seagate drive and the other was/is a WD drive. I have cold reset the HWS many times with no results. My DVR is filling up!

    Dish off in storm, permanently?

I've been a Dish customer for many, many years. Not once have I ever had to pay to have any equipment shipped back to them regardless of the reason. They have always included a prepaid UPS shipping label addressed to themselves for me to use to ship their box with the equipment back to them...

Fox Regional Sports Networks Block DISH and Sling TV Customers

I also subscribe to MLB.TV via Amazon Prime Video. Since the Cleveland Indians are my favorite team (since I was 5 -- I'm now 74), I can watch all their games using either the home broadcast or the away broadcast (my choice -- guess which I always choose - the Fox Sports Ohio version of course)...

    OTA Recording Problem

I have a Hopper w/Sling. Locals are included with my account. I also use the OTA adapter (not dual) attached to an outside rotating antenna. When viewing OTA shows directly from the antenna, the PQ is fantastic, especially the 1080i/p channels. Yet, when I record any show on any of the available...

Zinger after a vacation pause on my account

Just as was the case with the OP, I too used pause (for the first time ever) between November 1, 2018 and April 1, 2019. Here is my billing before the pause started and after it ended. I also scheduled the pause via chat and was never told about any pricing changes upon return from pause...

    Cancelled Dish Today

I went back and re-read your first post. No where did I see a request from you for respondents to provide a compelling reason for you to stay with Dish. In fact, you emphatically stated "Will never come back unless my internet slows to a crawl." Seems kind of final to me.

Can someone explain this to me? (Dish vs Spectrum Locals)

What I would like to understand (but don't) is why Dish gives me a local NBC station from the Saginaw/Flint Michigan area yet the local cable (Spectrum) has all their locals from the west side of upper lower Michigan plus the locals from where I live (Alpena, MI) which provides a lot more...

    Hopper 4

If Dish provided receivers/Hoppers with built-in OTA tuners, then they would probably have to continue paying for the local's re-transmission rights because the OTA tuners would be considered part of the service. Whereas, if the customer (Dish subscribers) purchased the OTA tuners for use with...

Official SatelliteGuys CBS / DISH Dispute Thread

Huh? Look closely. Alpena does not show CW in its lineup either. That was the whole point. I shouldn't have to move to get WPIX.
