The Fortune 500 is ranked by gross sales / revenue. That is not the same as gross profit. Exxon is about 36% gross profit. Dish is 30%. Both are very high. Most large companies are much lower. Ford is around 15%, GM about 7%. Dish is very profitable, thats a fact, no question about it.

Thats good to know. I'm not rude to the csr's. I know its just their job and they are doing their best. It would be nice to have a tiered system. The first time you call you get the best American CSR's. And if you are one of those people who constantly call dish for every little thing than you...

I think that telecommunications (phone, internet and tv) is the second most profitable business in the usa behind only the oil business. So sure Dish is making a lot. It would be nice if there were options. But for me channel for channel, box for box, Dish is still my lowest cost option.

I've been lurking around here off and on forever, ever since the big split years and years ago. So I've read a lot of good things about the DIRT guys and that is the only reason I registered.

I've pm'd 2 DIRT members and neither have responded. So I called Dish directly and got someone who i could not understand so i hung up. Am I too new to get DIRT help?
