Sorry but this is all above my head. Is this the satellite that is supposed to replace the one that wobbles? I read a while back that the "wobbling" satellite was the reason why I needed a second dish to help with the poor signal I was receiving on my locals.

Dish should do this for you. I recently had them come out and they installed a separate D500 for 129 and on a clear day most of my readings are now high 70's to low 80's. Call indicate you are having issues with signal fade when it rains. When the tech comes out ask for the 2nd dish.

Right now with clear skies Transponder 1 which my locals reside on is 82. 6 is at 77 and 31 is 96. How do I stack up?

Dish guy just left. Installed a second dish. A Dish 500 specifically for 129. Gained about 5-10 digits on the signal strength. Right now I am at 78-80 with cloudy skies. Curious now how hard it must rain for the signal to drop. I'll update when I can.

Definetly an issue while I am watching the Busch race. Running a 622 with HDMI cable and optical cable for audio. I have skipped back 10 seconds and the same drop out occurs. Currently watching a commercial that is not in HD and it too had audio drop out. This is rediculous.
