    as a installer myself i would not trust a line that isnt 3ghz for the hopper system at all except for the joeys been on way too many trouble calls from people using 2250 mhz lines from dish to node and node to hopper dont do, the saving from cheap wire or using old wire isnt worth the problems...

    all lines from dish to the hopper have to be 3 ghz joeys and hics ( hopper internet connector) can be rg-59 really so basicaly any rg6 will work if is un damaged

    the hose test tells otherwise yes the term rainfade is about the rain between the reflector and the satellite, but the rain on dish will interfer with signal some and want to see about maybe getting the a 20-30 range by preventing rain/ snow from sticking on reflector.... if reflector is wet it...

    in almost all markets the .4 east is used for spanish hd. as far as local it all depends i install for 2 diff markets and one 61.5 is only sat with hd locals.... the other market the locals hd and sd only come on the 119 if his installer said that he needs a 61.5 i would say get a .2 east...
