    Al is right. The Voom LNB is a DirecTV dual LNB. It uses the same signaling as a Dish Network Legacy dual LNB. I've used one output for Voom 61.5 and Echostar 61.5. Make sure you run a check switch on the Dish receiver to clear out any saved switch matrixes since you won't have a switch in...

    DTV on the mitsubishi defaults to component. You have to actually change the menu settings to utilize it for RGBHV. Otherwise it is just another component. Make sure the 811 is set to 1080i.

    Is there a device to test for OTA HD signals instead of putting up antenna first?

    Install an antenna at the top of the hill and run high quality RG11. Heck, even RG6 would probably work. This is how it was done in the olden days...and you can bet there is plenty of digital coming out of LA.

    Yes, I actually purchased it for an additional HD monitor that didn't have DVI. However, I replaced that monitor with a new Samsung set today and sold the older set. Now I'm going to be using DVI with the 811.

    That's what I meant, my mistake. However, the actual form factor of the connector is HDMI, yet it handles DVI and HDMI signaling. Anyone know the service menu codes for newer Samsung sets?
