Seems we are getting reports of outages this morning. In Cincy I have complete signal loss at times and then at other times having very pixilated video. Where are you and what are you seeing?

Hey everyone.....Long time no see. So let me get this straight. If I qualify for the free upgrade then my Fees will go down? I currently have a 922 and a 722k and paying 27 dollars in fees. HWS is $12 and a Joey is $7. Is my math correct? I really appreciate it.

I was wondering if anyone else has their local channels periodically having problems on the 922. This is referring to the Sat feeds, not an OTA module issue. I know of one other 922 owner with the exact same issue. Every now and then our local channels will say the sat signal was lost...

Fios. AKA fiber optic service. Pretty soon Fios will be a term like Jello regardless of trademark. I wondered why Cincy Bell called it fioptics. Good to know. Now back to requesting full time RSNs! :)

Even though I can be critical, generally I am generally an avid promotor of Dish. Recently I had Fios installed by Cincinnati Bell and they tried to sell me TV with their Whole Home DVR. Immediately I turned on my 922 and asked. Does it have expandable storage, sling capabilities, a 1TB drive...

Dish if your still going to charge the same upfront fees for a box about a year old AND the monthly fee ....the thing should be near perfect... I'm waiting a year so that I feel like I broke even and this thing is history.... The 722 is THE most flexible and reliable box on Dish....period.

I got the box at launch....and tend to be an uber gadget geek. 200 back then plus a fee.. I could see it ..... 12 months later...the box has seen SUBSTANTIAL improvements.....HOWEVER.....now that we have a standalone sling adapter for the 722....why bother? For 200 you get a better...

Stay far away. Pick the 722 k and buy a sling adapter and a 1 tb external hard drive. You will be so far ahead of the price curve. Many here are upset with the 200 upfront fee..plus the extra monthly fee...and you can do everything else cheaper except 3d vod. Don't bother with the 922...

Sling seems to he hit or miss for folks. I have a 30/5 connection and there are times when I try to start sling it locks the box or the box just acts funny trying to stream.

I got my 922 shortly after moving to Northern Cincinnati. We hadn't moved yet and Dish came out to install the dish a week before moving in. The box was buggy as hell during the install.... I let it set for an entire week running without touching it and when we moved in the following week the...
