Dish remote code for 55" RCA Flatscreen TV

Looks like this TV uses Sony IR protocol. I have an old Sony RM-Y129 remote used for Directv Sony receiver from 1996. The TV function (programmed to default Sony) works with the exception of a few buttons (input, sleep, select, really the important ones)

Dish remote code for 55" RCA Flatscreen TV

Hi thanks for your reply. Yes I have tried the above codes. Nothing working. Is there an updated list for RCA TV's? I know that the newer RCA TV's are different in terms of infrared signals than the older RCA TV's. Any help is appreciated.

Dish remote code for 55" RCA Flatscreen TV

Hello everyone, We just bought a new RCA 55" flatscreen TV. I want to program my dish 6.2 IR/UHF Pro remote to operate the TV. I tried about 100 codes for RCA and nothing works. Anyone know the codes for newer RCA TV's?

Dish 622, TV2 output grainy picture

Thank you for responding to my post. Yes channel 22 was ONCE the output for TV2, but I also tried many other channels, all grainy. It looks like the problem isn't with my receiver only, as there are many others with this same problem. (In fact one of my neighbors has a 722 receiver with the...

Dish 622, TV2 output grainy picture

Hello everyone, I have read multiple posts regarding the picture quality on TV2 output. To rule out any possibility of long cable runs, faulty RG6 cables, etc, I hooked the TV2 output from my dish 622 receiver using a 4' RG6 coax with the second TV in the same room as the 622. The picture is...

    Grounding OTA Mast (Again)

Thanks for your response. What about grounding to an outlet using a coax ground block? I am afraid that is impossible if I want to make it look good. My roof is very high, and the ridge (horizontal roof peak) is only about 6 feet long. So in order to get to the perimeter, I would have to run...

    Grounding OTA Mast (Again)

Yes but is 90 feet too much for the ground cable? I am wondering if it is sufficient to just ground the coax through a grounding block to the grounding bolt on my meter base.

    Grounding OTA Mast (Again)

Hi Guys, I realize this question has been asked a million times, but here goes: My OTA antenna is mounted on a 5' mast, on a tripod at the peak of my roof. (My roof is 30' from the ground) I have a 3 year old 2 storey home with a very steep roof pitch. I chose to run the coax cable neatly...

    multiple keys sent UHF remote

Problem is back again. It is intermittent. I thought moving the receiver away from the other one worked but I guess not. I am sure others may have had this problem. I hope someone can help. The receiver is unusable as it is now.

    multiple keys sent UHF remote

This is an intermittent problem. I just moved the receiver 3 feet away from the other one. The problem stopped for now, but like I said before it is intermittent. It also worked normally in IR mode (pointing the remote at the receiver). Nothing has changed in my setup in years, all of a sudden...

    multiple keys sent UHF remote

Hello all, I have a couple of 512 DVR's in my home positioned beside each other. Both UHF remotes use a different channel and both have UHF remote extender cables installed in the rooms that they are being viewed (with the antenna on the end of the cable). Either of these units don't interfere...
