I downgraded last month, I dropped HBO. So I guess I'll have to trim off some more come March . These price increases are saving money. Every year they have one I'll downgrade till I'm gone from D* altogather, Then we'll see if "Somebody up there loves me " . Now, I have Total Choice plus locals...

Well, sounds like $85.97 is not enough for D* from me. Two extra recievers+ Total choice plus w/ locals+ HBO, MAX, Starz. I guess I'll have to do a little down grading. Plus the new interactive features will not even work with my current recievers. What incentives is it for me to pay more to...

No, I've heard it will only function 100% on the D10 recievers and above. I guess for us all weather freaks as " hdtvtechno" put it, there's always weather.com for local weather. Unless you want to buy a new reciever that supports the new interactive content.

The way I understand it the only interactive recievers will be the D10 and up. Us with the old "WINK" interactive rec. will be left in the dark as for interactive content. I thought I remember a little over a year when I purchased my RCA486 that they said it was upgradable, so much for that...
